Paddy McGuinness has shared his fears that his wife Christine McGuinness is pregnant and his vasectomy may not have worked.
Taking to Instagram to share a snap of a Fab ice lolly and a cup of tea, the Top Gear host revealed that his model wife had requested them for dinner and called it a “#weirdcraving”.
Joking that he is “praying” his procedure “held up”, Paddy wrote alongside the post: “Just asked the good lady what she wanted for her supper? I’m praying that vasectomy has held up! #weirdcraving #icelollyandacupoftea #wtf #supper #staysafe”.

Former Real Housewives of Cheshire star Christine backed up his fears and confessed that she craved the sweet treat when she was pregnant with their children – seven year old twins Leo and Penelope and five year old, Felicity.
The 32 year old commented on the post: “Oh no!. I craved Fabs through both pregnancies I’m scared now I told you to get it checked!” [sic] alongside a crying with laughter emoji, an aubergine and some cherries.
Paddy, 47, revealed he had undergone a vasectomy back in 2019.
Posting from his bed at home following the procedure, the comedian wrote: “Patient McGuinness is home. Gentlemen, if you’re thinking about having a vasectomy and are a little bit reluctant, as I was, the initial anaesthetic, what they give you into the ol’ pippins, I’m not gonna lie, that’s tender.
“It made my eyes water a little bit.
“But after that, honestly, it’s a doddle. I’m currently resting up at home with a towel full of ice on the old nicky nacky noos. But I’ll keep you up to speed.” [sic]
Paddy also flashed a glimpse at his crotch to show he was recovering with a towel full of ice.
He captioned the clip: “Home now after having the auld snippy snappy snoo. Currently resting up with a bag of ice on my nadgers. #vasectomy #testicletuesday.” [sic]
Paddy and Christine, who tied the knot in 2011, have always been very open about family life. Christine has previously revealed that the pair did want to expand their brood, but due to their three children having autism they are “stretched” at home.
She told Loose Women : “I wanted six children – but we are done. Not because we don’t want another autistic child, but we are stretched because the children do have autism, it’s hard to manage your time.”
She continued: “Paddy is away working, I love him to bits, Patrick I love you, he’s doing it for us, but it’s difficult sharing yourself among three children.
“They’re learning to manage their meltdowns, we don’t have a bad life, we live in a happy home and I’m so so proud of them.”
